In the town of Aleksandrovac, Zdravković Budimir – affectionately known as “Deda Buda” (“Grandfather Buda” in English) – has been crafting nearly 80 vintages of authentic wines. In 2006, his son-in-law Aleksander Rašković made a bold but imperative decision to systematically commercialize Budimir’s wines, allowing the wines to not only be available to wine lovers in Serbia but also around the world. Tamjanika is the Serbian name for Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, a grape that creates floral white wine. Many locals doubted that it could make serious wine, but Vino Budimir has shown that the grape is capable of that and so much more. The entry-level Tamjanika is meant to be consumed young but also capable of short-term aging.

Category Red wines
Bottle size 0.75 L
Alcohol 13 %
Production 6.000
  • Coffee
  • Mint

The Fabula Mala is a total turn-on. Deep, powerful and voluptuous, 2016 brings together the aromatic expressiveness of Cabernet Franc with the plush fruit of Merlot. Espresso, raspberry jam, mint, rose petal and blood orange are some of the signatures. Exotic, alluring and stunningly beautiful. What a gorgeous wine this is! At times, Fabula Mala can be dominated by the Cabernet Franc, but that is not the case with 2016, as the sheer density of the fruit is incredibly prominent. Fits great with:
