Crystal clear and gentle green yellow Miraz Graševina is a wine of rich body and fullness of taste. In the mouth the richness of smell is replaced by richness of taste. Miraz graševina develops distinctive scent components and emphasize fruitness and creamy taste. Miraz Graševina is pouring down the throat and is easy to drink. Ending is warm and creamy. Its bitterness is gentle and pleasant, typical for Graševina variety.

In 18th century Slavonia, wine culture was brought by Cistercian and the Templar monks. In 1804 the existing Feravino wine cellar was constructed and wine production in Feričanci began. Feravino is a continental winery that invests love, passion, and knowledge in the top-quality red wines. Feravino gives special attention to the queen of their vineyards and winery, the Frankovka (Franconia) grape variety. No smaller dedication is put into the queen of the Slavonian vineyards – white variety Graševina.

Made of variety Portugizac the most widespread in Croatia’s winemaking region Plešivica. It is well known as the variety with lovely fruit aromas and flavors with a little tannin, from which is made popular young autumn wine. Because of ability to quickly matured and flavor development it is ideal for the production of rose sparkling wines. This sparkling wine have expressed aromas of raspberry, cherry and strawberry and rich pink color. It is refreshing and elegant in the mouth, ideal for hot summer days.

There is a new wine star being born in Central Croatia on Plešivica. Krešimir Ivančić is a young winemaker who is among the first in Croatia introduce the new technology of producing wine and sparkling wines with cold maceration. Method that enables the production of wines and sparkling wines with strong floral and fruity bouquet. His family has been making wines for generations and they have a long tradition of winemaking. Their vineyards are located on the highest parts of Plešivica over 400m above sea level, facing south which allows them to produce premium grapes. The fact that Krešimir is perfectionist and a man who lives for wine in combination with the latest technologies gives characteristic expression of terroir in wines. It provides character to the wine which is very recognizable and characteristic to the best wines and winemakers in the world.

Plavac mali tends to be very tannic and to ensure softer tannin, it needs to be picked fully ripe, but then a higher alcohol seems inevitable. Spoža was one of the first succesful modern rose wines made from Plavac mali grape. Spoža is medium full bodied and crispy refreshing rose full of red fruit with spicy and mineral undertones.

Plavac Mali variety describes the colors and flavors of the island Brač the best. Saša Senjković left his Hajduk football career to revive Brač’s winemaking traditions together with his wife, Magdalena. Spoža was an instant hit, enchanting the winelovers as a rose wine made from often difficult Plavac mali grapes.
