In Portuguese, Cinco Quinta means “Five Estates,” which is appropriate for this winery as grapes for their wines are sourced from five family-owned vineyard properties all located near the city of Vizela. In 1990, José Borges built the Cinco Quintas winery and produced a small quantity of his wines. The freshness comes from the characteristics of the grapes, the granite soils, but also from the mild temperatures due to the moderate influence of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2014 Cinco Quintas launched the “Avicella” line of Vinho Verde wines, balancing the winemaking traditions of their ancestors with modern winemaking technology and methods. This Alvarinho Vinho Regional Minho is made from 100% Alvarinho grapes grown on Cinco Quintas estate vineyards in Vizela.

Graševina Dika is a combination of sensibility, knowledge, and skill. This wine deserves special attention and it is chosen by consumers who can recognize the premium quality Slavonian product. Its production requires additional work and interventions on grapes and in the vineyard. In the glass, the wine captures with its crystal brilliance, greenish-yellow color and straw-yellow reflections, liveliness and dense consistency. Extraordinarily developed and open varietal aroma and freshness are what set Graševina Dika apart. Goes down the throat smoothly and is easy to drink. Delicate and pleasant bitterness is typical of this Slavonian variety. Wine of high minerality. On the palate, the richness of aroma is replaced by the richness of flavors, accompanied by a very long and warm finish. Graševina Dika pairs well with warm starters such as cheesy pasta sauces, vegetable casserole, boiled chicken, and beef, (grilled) white fish…

At the same time, they bought around 1.6 hectares of old vineyards. Josić Wines are made from authentic Baranja varieties that ripen in ancient vineyards on Banova kosa. The restaurant and winery are located in the ambiance of the so-called Sarduk, in the idyllic Baranja village Zmajevac.
