The story of the Benvenuti winery is a story of family, tradition, and terroir. Situated in the quiet Istrian village of Kaldir, overlooking Motovun, where three grape varieties grow - Malvasia Istriana, Teran and Muscat. This wine comprised of the most significant Istrian red varieties comes from the vineyards of Španjola, located 300 meters above sea level. The goal of Benvenuti family was to produce high-quality wines and create a recognizable brand from three indigenous Istrian varieties: Istrian Malvasia, Teran, and Muscat.

A complex Malvazija of extreme minerality and full body with pronounced characteristics of the variety. Vineyards with limited yields are in Turkovo, at 350 meters above sea level. Malvazija Anno Domini was in oak barrels for 24 months. Fine fragrances of "wood" and honey are felt in the bouquet, followed by dried apricots and yellow peaches. It has beautifully consistency in the mouth, and the feeling of juiciness and creaminess lags long on the palate.
