Bibich Aleph 2017

Alen Bibić’s mission is to bring Skradin wines to international prominence. By doing so, he plans to sustain the long tradition of indigenous white Debit and red Zinfandel relatives- Babic, Plavina, and Lasin. Bibich winery provides an exceptional experience in pairing wine and food, and as such has been mentioned in prominent and famous American magazine Wine Enthusiast. Aleph is a blend of 3 varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 67%, Merlot 20% and Cabernet Franc 13%. From a small vineyard in Jezerina in Plastov, which has only 1200 vines planted. Only around 500 bottles a year are produced from that vineyard. The location of vineyards provides the best conditions for grapes. 2010 was the first vintage on the market after 13 years of waiting. Wine from this vineyard is made only in exceptional vintages. Nurtured in the best 225 l French oak barrels for two years and 18 months before being placed on the market. Unfiltered!
