Cuj Teran 2013
The CUJ family tradition is based on wine and olive oil making that dates back to the 15th century. Kraljević, the family name, was the origin of CUJ, a brand in honor of the grandfather who planted and cultivated the vineyards. CUJ was the grandfather’s nickname, as he always spoke in an Istrian dialect: “Cuj, Cuj da ti rečem (Listen, let me tell you something)”. Teran is an authentic Istrian variety - the grapes come from one of the best locations surrounding Umag, „Bosco Grande“ or in translation „Large wood“.
|Region||Istria & Kvarner|
A rich and layered wine with pleasant and seductive aromas of cherries and plums, accompanied by herbal notes. The wine is slightly sour, soft and hot, with a solid and elegant body. The energy of the wine is confirmed in the mouth, giving specific weight and body, a few tough tannins and acidic character. The variety freshness makes the wine an ideal pair for Mediterranen dishes.
