Degrassi Cabernet Sauvignon Contarini 2012
As one of the pioneers of Istrian winemaking, Moreno Degrassi stands out with his red and white blends. Besides these fine blends, he is also focused on indigenous grapes like Malvasia, Istriana, and Teran. Degrassi sources the grapes from four different locations and two different terroirs (Terre Bianche - white soil, and Terre Rosse - red soil). The best-known "brand" among Moreno Degrassi wines.

|AWARD||Decanter World Wine Awards 2015 - Silver medal|
This wine is from a location in Contarini, one of the best wine-growing areas in Istria. Steady and harmonious, with balanced juiciness. Cranberry gives the flavoring while minerality gives the elegance. The wine has a dark ruby color, and after aromas of dried plums and ripe cherries it reveals violet and fine notes of black pepper. The taste is powerful and quite warm, with a long end and hint of dark chocolate.
