Groszer Wein Blaufränkisch Szapary 2015

- +
$50.39343,96 HRK

If you stand on the Eisenberg and gaze off into the distance, in addition to next-door neighbor Hungary you can also see clear across the Steiermark to Slovenia. It is the passion for the distinctive and remarkable terroir of the Eisenberg in Südburgenland that drives Matthias Krön and Markus Bach. On this extraordinary hillside with its old grapevines growing in steeply sloped vineyard sites, unique wines are created. The vineyard parcels of the site Szapary are the steepest hillsides on the Eisenberg and thus the most difficult to cultivate. The grapes for this Blaufränkisch have been grown exclusively on the Eisenberg in the Szapary, on grapevines that are 40 years old, planted in a soil that is pure slate

  • Black pepper

Profound, elegant and almost feminine, the wine shows noticeably salty notes on the palate and enchants the taster with its spicy finish. That is how the Blaufränkisch from the Szapary expresses itself. The grapes were picked by hand with extreme care. After a maceration period of three weeks, the wine was pressed and put into 500 and 1600 liter wooden casks, where spontaneous fermentation subsequently ensued.

  • Beef
  • Hard cheese
  • Roasted meat
