Jerković Mračaj 2012
Winery Jerković is located in Runovići in Imotski. Runović landscapes are well known for wine growing since the time of ancient Rome. Jerković winery is a small family winery founded in 1998. They produce only two wine varieties and both are indigenous wines, Kujunđuša and Rudežuša. Quality red wine variety Rudežuša, was named after its micro location on the mountain in Imotski vineyards. It is Croatian indigenous wine variety.
The mineral-herbal and fruit aromas reveal a dry and serious wine (Croatian Mračaj means mrak= Eng. Darkness). The beautiful cherry aroma rises up from the dark depth of the wine to the surface where it opens up. Precise fruity aroma is persistent and concrete with only 11.8% of alchocol.
