Kalazić Batina 2011
Kalazić vineyards are are located at Banska kosa (Ban's hair), to the northeast of Baranja. On the Hungerian border near the mighty Danube, which significantly affects the microclimate. With sandy soil it creates ideal conditions for the production of healthy and good quality grapes, which is then the basis for obtaining high quality wines. The grapes were grown in this area since the ancient Roman time. They have called that area Mons Aureus, respectively meaning, Golden Hill. It is interesting that the name of Baranja in direct contact with the wine. Translated from the Hungarian this means wine mother.
A wine that is literally the fruit of many years of hard work in wine blending. It is a blend of three premium wines: Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. It is named after the place where the winery is located. The goal was to get serious, complex white wine that will be durable and that will eventually improve in beauty. A wine with an attractive smell and rich, ripe fruit aromas that are reflected in the extra touch of herbal character. With this wine you discover something new every time you open a bottle.
