Krešić Wine Cellars produced their first wine bottle in 2011. In a winery made according to newest technological standards with a capacity of 140,000 liters. The winery has 10 hectares of vineyards with grape varieties: Graševina, Frankovka, Cabernet Sauvignon, Traminac Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. The vineyards are accompanied by a wine tasting room that is only a part of a beautiful building on the Danube bank in Šarengrad, a small place beside Ilok. The Krešić wine Cellar is specific by its tasting room that has a Second World War German bunker as a wine archive. The story of Krešić Wine Cellars is specific since this is an entrepreneurial-sports story. The idea, the initiative and the financial means for launching the winery were secured by Dario Krešić. The professional goalkeeper that played in some of the best European clubs.

Traminac (Gewürztraminer) is a grape variety traditionally grows in the Ilok area, where optimal pedoclimate conditions exist. It was brought by Prince Odeschalchi to Ilok area, from South Tyrol. And was named after the city Tramin, where it was first grown. Traminac is a wine of exceptional aroma, it achieves the perfect harmony of alcohol and acids. It is golden in color and can be dry or semi-sweet. It blends well with cakes, sweets and ice cream.
