De Gotho Pinot Noir
- +
$11.38$14.2379,97 HRK99,99 HRK

Our vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija at 45.3° North. The elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for de Gotho Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Hrnjevac that reaches the southern exposure and the altitude up to 400 m. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay, and carbonate loess. After harvesting grape press, molt flotation, the addition of selected yeasts and fermentation with temperature control to preserve the aromas.

Modern harmonious and warm high quality red wine. It has a darker ruby color, with a sweet bitter taste and balanced oak scent. It is imbued with a bouquet of ripe blackberries, raspberries and plums and a hint of black pepper, cloves and vanilla. The grapes for the Pinot noir de Gotho premium line come from the special vineyard position of Hrnjevac where the grapes are grown on a 2 ha area with limited yields. The wine is aged in wooden barrels of 225 liters for a year and then converted into barrels of 15,000 – 3,000 liters. We recommend serving at 18ºC with blue fish, ripe aromatic cheese, four-legged venison, dark meat.
