Miraz Merlot 2012

Feravino Winery finds roots of their tradition way back in the 18th century. In Slavonia wine culture was brought by Cistercian and the Templar monks. In 1804 the existing wine cellar was constructed and wine production in Feričanci began. Feravino is a continental winery that invests love, passion, and knowledge in the top quality red wines. Feravino gives a special attention to the queen of their vineyards and winery, the Frankovka (Franconia) grape variety. Which has found her home on the gentle slopes of Krndija mountain!

A deep, ruby red color indicates at a glance a very serious wine. Merlot Miraz originates from the limited terroir Mataruge in Feričanci vineyards. The aroma is deep, full, fruit-forward, with an emphasis on cooked fruit and jam. It is full, strong and balanced on the palate, with soft and mature tannins. The wine is in very good shape and ready to be aged. Enjoy it with red meat dishes, game, roasted veal, mature and strong cheese and kulen.
