Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Touriga Nacional 2014

Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Touriga Nacional 2014

The Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha estate vineyards and winery are owned by Maria de Lourdes Mendes Oliva Nunes Osório. The property has been in the family since the 18th Century and is in the Dão region. There are 55 hectares of vineyards planted on granite soil and have been tended and harvested now by three generations of women in the family. Quinta Da Ponte Pedrinha’s winemaker blends modern winemaking technology and years of local Dão tradition to make wine that reflects the unique terroir but is also perfect for today’s consumer. This wine is made from Portugal’s flagship red varietal, Touriga Nacional. This grape was first planted in the Dao region and represents the history of this region.
