The first thing you notice is the firm tannins, which even a matured cabernet sauvignon would be proud of, then a lively and tasty flavor whose intensity grades upwards at most some ten seconds after tasting. The acids are perfect, playful and slightly increased, without a Riesling sharpness to them, like in fresh and ripe autumn apples of domestic varieties. It’s dry to the bone, without the unpleasant tinge known to creep into this type of wine, and it’s so intense, harmonious and powerful that a lifespan of another 20 years can be predicted for it without the slightest hesitation.al.
