Tomac family has been producing wine for over 100 years. The first bottles were filled in 1987, and in 1996 the family receives a big recognition in France (Chardonnay du Monde) for its Chardonnay. And in 1997 for their sparkling wine Tomac Classic in Paris at Vinalies d argent. They still preserve the traditional wine production style. In 2006 Tomac family adopted a very old wine production and philosophy. Production of wine in amphorae. Amphora’s were ordered from Georgia and buried in the ground, in 2009 the first bottles of this wine were filled.
An excellent sparkling wine made from 80% Chardonnay and 20% Plavac žuti. It matured on the lees for almost 4 years. From specific 'diplomatic' vineyards where diplomatic harvests are held. Aromas of a crust of bread, brioche and buttery notes. The flavor is full, rich and complex with full body. Extremely harmonious, long aftertaste with balanced bubbles. Annual production of 4,000 bottles.
