Marany by Tomac is a persuasive statement from one of the first and finest Croatian family wineries, especially successful in making sparkling and amphora wines. Marany breaks prejudice about amber wines. Neither a compote or a vinegar, just a bit cidery, but without heaviness and weight of over-extraction, glides with ease and smoothly through the palate, revealing a flavorful spectrum of aromas, fruit tea, dried apricots and blood oranges, grapefruit and dry ginger and lots of energy in a single bite.
