In a winemaking region known as Podunavlje – vinogorje (vineyards) Erdut. The exquisite micro climate of the Danube watercourse, fertile and loose soil and equal distribution of precipitation and sunshine all ensure highly favorable conditions for planting various grapevine varieties. 75% of Antunović Winery's assortment consists of white wine varieties (Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Muscat Ottonel and Chasselas). And 25% of red wine varieties (Pinot noir, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon). This world's most widely-planted white grape variety has taken the best from the abundant sunshine and fertile soil of Erdut vineyards. It is characterized by a big, but a harmonic body and a straw yellow color. The wine is rather soft, though so typically "Chardonnay", with ''detectable'' flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, caramel and honey. The properties of this variety are highlighted by modern production process and as a result we get pleasant freshness with elegant notes of acidity and a subtle note of vanilla and toasted bread from the oak. It is recommended to be served at the temperature of 12°C, accompanied with snacks, fish, poultry, beef, cold lamb, game, hard cheese and eggs.
